Abstract
  • In an investigation of an auto supply company‚Äôs operations, it was discovered that their business process is prone to human error thus, resulting to inconsistent and unreliable historical information. This leads to inventory overstock which dramatically increases inventory costs. The goal of the project is to produce an automated sales and inventory management system which will allow the general manager and the employees of the company to achieve better business workflow. The study attempts to apply a Problem Oriented perspective in creating a system to address the aforementioned issues. The created system was evaluated by the company with satisfactory results. This paper shares the systems implementation process and the results.
